Competition of Golden Snail Award
The Competition of Golden Snail Award, as the core of the short film festival, upholds an international perspective, professional standards, and regulated processes, continuing the Golden Snail Award’s industry reputation and brand influence. Annually, it gathers participants from over 20 countries and regions globally, more than 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions within China, and over 40 professional film and television universities from both domestic and international locales.
The main competition for short films includes 13 awards:
Best Short Film Golden Snail Award, Special Jury Award, Best Foreign Language Film Award, Best Short Documentary Film Award, Best Short Experimental Film Award, Best Short Animated Film Award, Best Director Award, Best Screenwriter Award, Best Cinematography Award, Best Editor Award, Best Actor Award.
